Job description:
Working closely with the Group's Technical Director, the Junior Technical Support Engineer will participate in technical support operations and maintenance management of a drilling equipment depot including drills, trucks, cars, compressors, generators, pumps, etc.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Remote support to regional structures maintenance (diagnosis, search for solutions, logistics)
The inventory, improvement, development and audit of maintenance practices in terms of the Group's HQSE policy
Monitoring, analysis and consolidation, performance indicators of the Group's maintenance activity
Collection, analysis and synthesis of feedback to encourage discussion in the design office
Creation or update, and then dissemination of the required support documents
He / she will participate in:
Promoting and implementing the Group's maintenance actions
The audit of maintenance practices for each area
The development of the Group's maintenance referential (solutions, best practices and procedures intended for maintenance and operations)
Reporting to the Maintenance Group
Inventory optimisation
Up keeping the "depot" database
Conditions:
Location: Lunel (France, near Montpellier) with regular trips abroad to our sites (agencies, bases, sites).
Contract: Permanent
Profile:
Generalist engineer background, predominantly mechanical, you are very interested both technical (mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic) know-how and human contact and in cost monitoring.
Equally at home in the field as in the office, you have a strong sense of service and you are "solutions" oriented. You are autonomous, proactive and know to write technical as well as general documents. With great adaptability, you wish to invest in a constantly growing group in which you can evolve both in support and in operations.
A successful experience in maintenance and / or the design of rolling equipment is expected, ideally in the areas of mining (mining, quarrying, drilling) or public works.
Given the international environment in which you will evolve, a good grasp of English and French is essential. A third language would be a bonus (Spanish, Russian, etc.).
Required skills:
Analytical and synthesis skills, a high adaptation and organisation capacity and natural leadership will be essential to evolve within FORACO's rapidly developing, reactive Group. Technical knowledge and the capacity to share knowledge will also be required.
