HSE Supervisors based in Africa (H/F)

Job Description:

Based in the main agency in each country with frequent travel to the various sites, the HSE will coordinate, deploy and report on the HSE activities of his / her country.

Reporting to the Regional HSE Manager, the HSE supervisor will:
= Supervise security and safety actions on the sites
= Propose and implement rules and best practices
= Distribute the HSE documents to each local project
= Transmit the Safety Process Manual to each new employee
= Guarantee that HSE policies are correctly implemented.
= Carry out consolidation of the HSE reporting for his / her country
= Contribute to the group HSE team ideas and participate in the development of group wide HSE policies

Unfixed Term Contract (CDI)

Profile:

Generalist engineer background with specialization in HSE management.
Ideally minimum 5 years experiences in HSE management, coordination and supervision. Initial experience in the mining exploration industry is required.
Due to the international environment, French and English speaking are a mandatory.

Required behavioural skills
Synthesis skills and a proactive approach are as important as the capacity to share knowledge with the operational team. Flexible, reliable and reactive self starter, you relish the challenge of formalizing global HSE activities.
