TASK

Translation of content for UN Cape Verde newsletter.

The newsletter is edited once every two or three months. The deadlines are 3 to 5 working days for the documents sent (total max of 5 to 10 pages/issue). The online volunteer is expected to be available for 52 weeks, starting ASAP. The online volunteer will have the support and guidance of a dedicated focal person at the Joint Office (UNICEF, UNDP, UNFPA) in Cape Verde and at UNV.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION

The bulletin is edited in Portuguese for wide distribution among local partners. Some reference texts are written in English, therefore need to be translated into Portuguese.

OBJECTIVE

The volunteers will contribute to the visibility of the ONE UN - Cape Verde Work. Contribute to the advocacy of the ONE UN Programme, and contribute to a better communication with donors and local partners. The newsltter showcases the issues that the programme is aiming to support, the contribution of voluntunteers will ensure that the information is visible.
