As part of the Sishen Engineering Team, you will plan, develop and coordinate assigned projects as an individual project engineer or as a member of a cross-functional team. Key outputs will involve developing, communicating, and implementing technical guidance and engineering standards and solutions. It will be necessary for you to support advanced maintenance programmes such as reliability-centred maintenance, failure modes and effects analysis, and root cause failure analysis, as well as to conduct and/or participate in the review of equipment and component failures, which will include liaising with relevant stakeholders (eg OEMs, Line Managers, CB Dept, etc), and interacting with the Diagnostic Department to assist in CBM.


You will need to have a B Engineering (Mechanical) degree and 2-5 years' experience in the Mining Maintenance (HME) area in order to be considered for this career opportunity. Experience in Project Management will be an advantage and experience in both SAP and RCA/Reliability processes is highly recommended.

Remuneration:

The position is an Anglo Band 6
The initial salary will be determined in accordance with Kumba Iron Ore regulations
