SOUTH SUDAN - Assistant Logistics Manager (Technical)

Based: Juba, South Sudan (with travel to field locations)

Contract duration: 24 months


An exciting opportunity has arisen for a competent and experienced Logistician to support our operational programme in South Sudan.


Working very closely with the Supply Chain Logistics Manager, the role will provide technical capacity across the South Sudan Programme to support the implementation of relief and rehabilitation projects in a challenging environment.


The applicant will possess formal technical logistics qualifications. Applicants will also have IT, electrical, vehicle and communications equipment experience.


The role requires frequent travel to field sites. This will involve significant amounts of time maintaining, repairing and developing the logistics equipment and infrastructure of the programme. In addition the role will involve training and development of national staff within the logistics function and other project staff with whom they will be working with. Excellent written and spoken English is essential.
