An exciting opportunity to see the world as part of Total’s Exploration and Production (E&P) team has arisen for senior engineers with strong experience and expertise in the required discipline. Our E&P team is active in 42 countries across the globe and current opportunities offer attractive, long-term contracts in various international locations on a family or rotational basis.

As a Lead Flow Assurance Engineer you will have to :
 Carry out flow assurance studies from conceptual to pre-feed stages
 Provide assistance or supervise flow assurance studies in the frame of basic or detailed engineering
 Define and supervise R&D projects carried out internally or in the frame of JIPs
 Define multiphase transportation network and receiving facilities to mitigate flow assurance risks such as flow instabilities, slug control, prevention of solid deposits (hydrates, wax, scaling, ...)
 Supervise and train junior flow assurance staff
 Participate to technical audits or peer reviews for projects or operating entities.


Required skills
Education
Will have an MSc, or equivalent, qualification in fluid dynamics. A PhD will be appreciated.
Will have Chartered Engineer status, or equivalent.
Will have a high level of awareness of Health and Safety issues and be able to encourage good practice in others.
Will be fluent in both spoken and written English.
Experience
Will have 10 years process experience of the oil and gas industry within Exploration and Production.
Will have experience of main flow assurance software such as: OLGA, PIPESIM, ...
Will have experience in CFD.
Will have some people management experience and the ability to motivate, inspire and lead multi-disciplinary teams.
Skills
Will be adept at working collaborating and proactively sharing information and expertise with your colleagues.
Will be able to operate flexibly and sensitively in multi-cultural teams and local environments.
Will be able and keen to travel the World and work in a variety of countries.
Will be eager to develop your career in one of the biggest and most progressive Oil & Gas companies in the World.
