An exciting opportunity to see the world as part of Totals Exploration and Production (E&P) team has arisen for senior engineers with strong experience and expertise in the required discipline. Our E&P team is active in 42 countries across the globe and current opportunities offer attractive, long-term contracts in various international locations on a family or rotational basis.
As a Senior Project Control Manager, you will supervise and be accountable for the activity of a team in the detailed preparation and planning of a project.
You will be responsible for the preparation of the project execution plan, as well as defining organisation and strategy within your team.
An important part of your role will be to establish project procedures in agreement with company policies.
You will be in charge of establishing and controlling yearly and LOP budgets.
You will need to prepare, issue and control the various calls for tender, acting with utmost integrity and in-line with company policies.
You will need to build and monitor relationships with suppliers and contractors and liaise with a diverse range of colleagues, developing positive working relationships.
You will ensure project reporting to the main office and to partners or authorities. You will need to identify main themes and deliver clear, concise messages, making reports appropriate and understood by those for whom they are intended.
Required skills
Education
Will hold a degree, or equivalent qualification in technical or project management.
Will have a high level of awareness of Health and Safety issues, along with the ability to encourage conscientiousness in others where health and safety is concerned.
Will be fluent in both spoken and written English.
Experience
Will have a substantial level of experience of working in the oil and gas industry, preferably within Exploration and Production.
Will have experience in the management of projects above $200m.
Skills
The nature of this role means that excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential as you will be expected to communicate with people at all levels of the organisation and from a wide range of different backgrounds.
Have full international mobility.
