An exciting opportunity to see the world as part of Totals Exploration and Production (E&P) team has arisen for senior engineers with strong experience and expertise in the required discipline. Our E&P team is active in 42 countries across the globe and current opportunities offer attractive, long-term contracts in various international locations on a family or rotational basis.
With market demand increasing rapidly, you will play an important part in optimising the technical solutions to gain the maximum benefit from the global subsea industry.
This stimulating role will require advanced Subsea experience and skills related to design and fabrication and testing of subsea tree systems. You will be working with advanced subsea systems with TOTAL being one of the leaders in the world in deploying new subsea technology.
You will work with subsea pre-project/Front End Engineering & Development studies; you will give support to subsea projects and support technology development. You will be providing technical expertise and team-oriented interpersonal skills to technically challenging deepwater subsea activities globally.
Typical work tasks:
-Provide assistance to R&D programs, execute technology development programs,
-Development and management of technical design and manufacturing standards and specifications for subsea tree systems
-Support project design reviews,
-Technical System support during the execution phase of projects,
-Act as technical authority responsible for subsea Tree systems.
Required skills
Education
Will have Masters Degree or Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline.
Will have a high level of awareness of Health and Safety issues, along with the ability to encourage conscientiousness in others where health and safety is concerned.
Will be an fluent in both spoken and written English, French is a benefit.
Experience
Will have minimum 7-10 years of experience working with subsea Tree systems.
Will have worked for an operating company or a major supplier/contractor.
Skills
Will have strong interpersonal and communications skills, both verbal and written.
Will be able to operate flexibly and sensitively in multi-cultural teams and local environments to manage the completion of local work phases. In addition, knowledge of the relevant environment and openness to new construction methods is an advantage.
Will be able and keen to travel the World and live in a variety of countries.
