ZAIN2082 - Pricing Manager
Business Unit: Zain Sudan
Division: Marketing
Location: Sudan - Khartoum
Basic Information:
To coordinate/manage all related pricing elements for products (prepaid & post-paid), VAS, Data, and roaming offers. This job responsibility lies under monitoring/enhancing yearly KPI's (i.e. revenue). It also involves maintaining a healthy balance between all product and services current price and new upcoming ones.
Main Responsibilities and Duties:
Manage all pricing elements for all commercial offers and ensure maintaining a balanced scheme.
Prepare heat maps for all packages and promos (in lines with sales recommendations and market research) to ensure balanced pricing portfolio internally and externally.
Continuously monitor competitor prices and analyze market competitiveness of Zain packages/promos/offers and report back recommendations to VAS, roaming, & product departments.
Plan & coordinate scenarios of tariff reduction/increase/etc with concerned departments.
Responsible of sizing/identifying un-taped segments, trends and potential area of development in terms of revenue based on usage behaviour and customer activities using (product, services, roaming, research, CC & regional team feedback if needed).
Report on monthly basis revenue gaps/analysis (if any) from budgeted numbers per area/package.
Responsible for all costing validations against provided business cases & also required to communicate related costs to concerned departments (i.e. acquisition cost, PR/communication cost, .. etc).
Manage and implement all strategic responsibility as highlighted in annual strategic plan.
Drive and work with cross-functional units and departments to ensure all recommendations are planned and being worked upon in order to meet daily/monthly/yearly KPI's.
Train team on all above tasks .
Revenue analysis for existing/new packages and promotions
Design and construct products, VAS, Data, roaming pricing document process & procedures for implementation and ensure smooth operational flow.
Ensure compliance with all applicable policies & regulatory requirements on Information Security.
Competencies and Qualifications:
Relevant Professional Business/engineering/Economy Bachelor's degree is required, Master's degree preferred.
A minimum of 5 years of progressive responsibility in product and service is required.
Strong understanding and awareness of competition .
Experience in problem solving/business case preparations .
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Arabic.
Excellent computer skills, including MS Office Applications.
Excellent leadership and management skills .
Highly developed communication and reporting skills (verbal and written) .
Ability to build excellent relationships with key stakeholders/customers.
Ability to highlight numerical/non numerical gaps and coming up with recommendations.
