VACANCIES

Impact Research and Development Organization is a national NGO based in Kisumu. Its principal mandate is to design, implement and evaluate HIV/AIDS research and intervention programs that improve the health status of individuals and local communities. We are looking for qualified and experienced personnel to fill in the following positions.

The intervention targets both In-School Youth and Out-of-School Youth and will be implemented in Rongo District, Nyanza Province.

HEALTHY CHOICES FOR A BETTER FUTURE 1&2 FACILITATORS (20 POSITIONS)

To facilitate mobilization, identification, and recruitment of the target population (In-School Youth and Out-of-School Youth) to undertake training on Health Choices for a Better Future 1&2 Curriculum.
To conduct trainings on Health Choices for a Better Future 1&2 Curriculum.
To diligently fill-in all the data collection tools for the training.

Minimum Requirements:

Certificate in Social work and Community Development or PI trained teacher
2 years’ experience in implementing evidence-based HIV prevention behavioral curriculums such as Families Matter! Program, Healthy Choices for a Better Future 1&2, Stepping Stones, Brighter Future etc.
Excellent communication, facilitation, mobilization, and leadership skills.
Previous training on Healthy Choices for a Better Future 1&2 Curriculum an added advantage.
Fluent in Dholuo, English and Kiswahili languages.
Display high level of professional integrity and honesty.
Residents of Rongo District will be given a priority and are encouraged to apply.
