Minimum Requirements
* Qualification(s) :
o BSc (Eng) Electrical Engineering Heavy Current Qualification Or
o B.Tech or other equivalent Tertiary Electrical Engineering Heavy Current Qualification
o Professional registration with ECSA as an Engineer or Technologist
* Experience:
o 7 years engineering related experience with a degree Or
o 10 years engineering related experience with B.Tech or other equivalent tertiary qualification
o Technical and technology leadership experience
o Design experience,
o Exposure to project engineering and production engineering is preferred in the power plant industry

Key Responsibilities
*
Provide management and leadership to the Electrical Engineering discipline function by interfacing with other multiple disciplines to achieve objectives
*
Establishes design standards and related business processes for relevant engineering disciplines and ensure compliance thereof
*
Provides technical leadership to Electrical Engineering Engineers on electrical designs within power plants
*
Performs general management duties
*
Provides specialist advice to executives and other stakeholders concerning the Electrical Engineering discipline
*
Drives documentation management for engineering specifications
